Grrr… what’s next? Maybe that’s what you’re thinking. I’m thinking it too. The site, if you’re a regular, has been dead for weeks. However I can not emphasis enough of the fact that I view, login, and manage this site everyday. This is my pride and joy. (awkward silence) I have been thinking of completely re-designing the site, but that’s a whole ‘nother project on it’s own. But ergh, getting away from tangents… so yeah, nothing new since the Rock Band video. Pretty sad, huh? I would probably go on to rant that I am a senior in high school, taking IB and AP classes and focusing in on college stuff, and asking you to imagine my crazy schedule, but you probably wouldn’t care. 😛 It’s… no excuse, right? Blahhh, so anyway. Videos. Man, I cry myself to sleep every night a new video isn’t on the site. And guess what? WE WERE SO CLOSE TO RELEASING A NEW ONE. This video would have made history. It was a music video. I wanted to open a new category on the project page called “Music Videos,” to join along side “Sketch Comedy.” This video was about Nintendo Boy and Nintendo Girl getting into a fight, to the song of Nothing Better by The Postal Service. If you’re wondering about the picture, that was a screenshot of the film you’ll never see (well maybe on an upcoming DVD in the “deleted scenes”… LOL) , and there’s a line that says “Don’t you feed me lies about some idealistic future,” which then cues the shot of the Scrabble board. Haha. And then our names and the site name was just a random touch. ERRRRRRR, but anyway, so we have so much filming on this. Like I seriously want to show you guys, and to be honest, I’ve seriously sat and thought long and hard on ways of how I could release this mess of clips of very well-shot scenes to us just goofing around, but I really couldn’t come up with anything. Oh well? (hint hint: you guys have any ideas?) Ok, so the main gist is that in the editing process, there are some parts where either Megan or I sang too fast and the syncing up of the audio would not end up working, and pretty much the editing of this video as a whole would actually be impossible. However, I learned a lot about approaching the directing in a whole new way, and I think I may have a better idea of handling the NB shoots.

I’m writing this out to you on a Friday night. It’s been a long week at school for me. Next week, all juniors are taking the Georgia High School Graduation Test (ie half-days for everyone else BUT juniors), and then, SPRING BREAK, and then NEW YORK BAND TRIP! … I really don’t know why I said all that. …*2 minute break* … You know, now that I read over this small random paragraph again, it’s actually technically Saturday morning? I dunno. Well anyway, this weekend I do plan to try another video so I can push out an update for the project, as well as continue to work on actual site related things that you may never even notice. Why do I do it? I don’t even know.

And… the beginning of the previous paragraph made me remember to mention that I am actually building a personal site of mine that will be seperate from this site, but will be integrated at the same time with NintendoBo- ahh, no no! You’ll see, you’ll see!! Haha! I will also be picking up on the twitter craze, so if you’re into that, follow me! Anyway, please stick around. I know the site has been dead, but we are still here, alive and well. 🙂

HELLO everyone!

Rant is not only the name of my new phone (yey!) but also a fitting title for this post because I will be talking about a few things that are new to the site. I promise it won’t be long so please read it thoroughly.

First off, the Photo App got recently updated, which means that any member can now post their own pictures to the site! Yey!! now you guys can put up appropriate material to the site under your profile so you get the credit. Which brings me to my next point, which are the comics that I drew like ages ago it seems, they do in fact still exist in case you were wondering (yeah right) and Jeff insisted that I put them under my name since he is all about giving ‘full’ credit to people. Also there is a new little group of comics that are being developed, I’m not really sure when they’ll be up but I’m sure they are going to be fantastic!! Better than mine so yeah look out for those. There also might be some new and obscure drawing coming to the site as well no one really knows about it but it will hopefully be a pleasant surprise. AquiloComix also has some things planned out for NB.com so look out for those too. And I think thats all, wow this blog was shorter than I expected, but it’s better for you guys since you don’t have to sit here and read all the stuff I have to say! x]

Well that being said I hope you guys enjoy the new enhancements to the site and use them because they sure are interesting; and once again be on the lookout for the new content coming your way!!!

Hey everyone!! Whew, when was the last time we had a nice site feature update? You have to admit though, the site has come a long way!! Anyway, I’ve finally gotten around to cleaning up some things and adding little things here and there, as well as my webhost Webs adding new features to the forums! If you are regular visitor, you may slash may not have noticed some things already, but either way… let’s take a look at some bullets! 😀

• Okay, so you probably have noticed an advertisement on the SideBar. Yeahhhh! It’s been there for a while, and it’s actually racking in some money. Slowly, but surely, we’ll get there. 🙂 Help the site out by clicking the ads, or even check out our webstore! (yes, we have one)

• Remember that blog post a while back about my hatred for Internet Explorer? I complained about a glitch on the About Us page that only showed up in IE. Well, I finally solved that problem by placing the images in a table, so now that page is finally cross-browser friendly.

• The Video Theater has received some small tweaks so that the video descriptions on the site match exactly on the YouTube direct video page (that took a while!!). The YouTube description boxes now have links to the site for the comics (1.1-1.3)! Also, as a nice added bonus in the Video Theater that every NB video now has a link to the blog post that accompanied it when it was released. I think that’s pretty cool, huh? It shows how much we’ve evolved, plus showed what I was blabbing about at the time of the videos!

Woahhh… okay, so I think I defeated the purpose of bullets by writing a little TOO much. Haha, sorry! I’m sure you guys get the idea. Speaking of the last bullet, a new video, is on the way in the next few days. I’m not kidding!! Last week was a failure, but this weekend we will be filming, and we hopefully will be soon adding another fantastic COUGH video to our Sketch Comedy gallery.
