Blogs on the 4th

And here we go with another update! Things are beginning to change (for the better), but before I being my mumbling, I’d like to wish a happy 4th to those who celebrate it!Ok, so here we go with some updates. FIRST, The Rendezvous is reaching the final stages of production. Right now, you can go to the explore page and register for an account. Until further notice, you’re access will be pending approval, and will be granted access once the rendezvous is open. I already have a few that signed up, and yes, I know you can’t get in yet, and that’s because I have yet to grant you access, and will do so when the rendezvous is open for the public.

Also, I’ve put a lot of thought into this next thing, so here goes: nRant. nRant is “Nintendo Rant”, a new staple coming to the site, which will give me space to discuss the latest news and products from Nintendo. I know some of my pals who also run Nintendo sites ask where the “news” is… so, well, it’s now here, as nRant! Yay! This, in turn, will also liven up the blog with more of my thoughts, and keep the blog a bustling place, because frankly, I really love this blog and feel it’s a connection between me and my readers. So, look out for new nRant posts coming shortly to a blog near you!

Speaking of blogs, actually, since you just read a couple of lines ago that I really love the blog, I’m beginning to put more effort into it to be easier, and more fun to read. I love writing these things (even if not many read them… heh), but heck, I’m going to have fun with these blog posts. Consider this the first of new and improved blog posts. I just want throw a more personal touch to my blog. Also, as far as the blog post page, I’ve decided to limit the number of posts per page to 7, instead of 10. That way, the page loads faster, and also, since I used to not make posts that often, you won’t see something outdated by just scrolling down a bit.

And, I believe, that’s it for now. As I write this, I wait for the fireworks tonight, and then pump my fists in anticipation for the 6th. My own holiday. Do you not love that new festive banner up on the site??

Sweet Dreams

Sleep. It’s a great thing. But when I can’t get any, I think. Or, listen to my iPod with the Sleep Timer set for 90 minutes, but that’s not the point, or at least the latter. These summer days, I have a lot more free time, so believe me, I work on the site a lot more because I love doing it. And when I can’t sleep, I think of ideas, and believe it or not, I actually get the best ideas while I stare at my ceiling… then I twitch that I can’t go and write it down because I’m sleepy, so ah well, I usually remember it anyway. Haha. And what a relief that Andrew & Laura are always online so I can chat with them as they keep me sane when I throw new pages and ideas at that to see what they think before I publish it.Anyway, some great things have come from that, such as the new home page. I think it’s pretty awesome, and easier to navigate. That page is jam-packed with all the stuff the site has to offer. Also, in the news of new pages, I also have a new contact us page. Now, it’s way easier to contact us (instead of the old way of regular email) if you’re into that kinda thing. Also, I shall soon be making a seperate form for webmasters who wish to affiliate and partner, so keep an eye out for that.

The Rendezvous. If you are here, reading this blog, you are probably a regular visitor, and you may be wondering when this will release. Well, after this blog post, I shall continue to put the finishing touches on this new adventure. I want this to be perfect and successful, so eh, that’s why it’s taking so long. But don’t worry, hopefully you will love it.

Secret Project & Other Mumblings

It’s big. It’s really big. And if you haven’t seen the page lately, the date for it’s launch it’s closely approaching. Your jaw will drop on June 21st, 2008 at 8:00 P.M. EST. I’m quite excited about this project I’ve kept under wraps for quite some time, and will be ecstatic when I’ll finally release the world I’ve created.

[posted 6/14] UPDATE… okay, so I didn’t really like my incredibly short blog post, so I’ll mumble for a few more paragraphs. Does anyone even read this?? I have this as the main page for a reason! Hah, well, whatever. I like writing these posts, and will continue to do so.

Okay, so here’s a post that will surely attract a bunch of webmasters who visit this site. I’m starting an affiliate program, finally. In other words, I will advertise YOU if you advertise me. However, your site must be good enough to where I’d want to show it off on my site, AND you must be Nintendo-related in some way. I apologize if you don’t meet the requirements, but then again I do look at every site who posts in the guestbook and such, so I can always make exceptions. Feel free to email me at my… (gasp) email, post in the comments of this blog post, or just post in the guestbook. I’m looking forward to flow some more traffic my way, and the same to my future partners!  You have no idea how many emails I get asking to partner… well, here’s the solution finally.

Anyway… Games. Games… is Nintendo. So, really, not having games on this site is out of the question. If you’ve been with me for a while, you know that I’m always re-arranging to the site to where I see fit. If you visit the new lounge (so far, you can only access it in the dimension of links page), there will be a link. The game room is under the forum, next to the comments and shoutbox. I’ve added back the games we used to have, but I took down zelda, because stats showed me that was not a favorite of you guys. Plus, I need to save space. So anyway, I really want to have a lot more games added more often, so keep checking back to the game room. I hope you like the way I’ve arranged it, because I do. And as always, if you find something wrong, please contact me in some way.

The gift shop! This is the first time I’ve officially advertised it, despite it being opened since mid-April. The reason was because the web store application I use for the site did not allow for a background image, and as you know, this site sticks out for it’s unusually bright colors, thanks to my background.  Well, now, my hosting guy finally made it work so I can add backgrounds. So… yay! I’d like to welcome you to visit the small store I have, accessing it through the links page. I have knocked everything down a couple bucks, so please feel free to browse! And as always, please feel free to contact me!

And well, I think that’s all I have to say for now. Oh, also, my hosting site is working on a possible membership program where you can sign up for an account on my site, and then have your own account and everything… if so, it will work PERFECTLY with my new project, as stated earlier in this blog post. So, look forward to some new things. And, well, as far as videos go, my buds who I work with are all busy in different places over the summer, so it’ll be harder to get a video done, but we will have at least one big, new one before the summer’s out. Sorry guys, but it’s been hectic! >.< But don’t fret, the rendezvous will hopefully keep you occupied for some good fun. And if you have any ideas, please, throw ’em out to me. I love hearing from you all!
